Jenny Jarmoune launched the Jenny Jen Collection with her husband and partner, Pascal Jarmoune, in the summer of 2004 on the very hip Rue Etienne Marcel in Paris and then the couple moved to Los Angeles. With the Jenny Jen collection embodying Parisian sophistication with West Coast sensibility, it only made perfect sense to bring Jenny Jen to the States. Jarmoune adapted her line to fit the casual style that thrives in Los Angeles, utilizing the research skills and keen eye for detail she had honed in on at the fashion design office of French label Chloe, where she was employed as an assistant designer for two years.
Currently, the Jenny Jen Holiday 2006 collection is filled with magic and whimsy. With applique beading and crystals adorned gently upon vintage lace in hues of powder and black, designer Jenny Jarmoune lends credit for her inspiration to the fantasy like quality of ice skating costumes. Fabrics such as muslin, satin, mesh and organza run throughout, while Jenny’s keen ability for detail is showcased with delicate embroidery, pleating, pin tucking and draping reminiscent of the elegance and femininity of the 1920's.
The Jenny Jen Collection can be found in exclusive boutiques worldwide including Fred Segal Flair, Kitson and Vionnet in Los Angeles, Intermix in NYC, Franck and Fils and Galleries Lafayette in Paris and Macy's nationwide.
