Q1 Could you tell us what did you get the concept for Spring 2008?
I was inspired when I Traveled to Europe and I ended up using a lot of European fabrics in the collection. (See attached press release for spring 2008).

Q2 In your opinion, what trends will we be seeing more of in '08?
I think we will be seeing more fitted and tailored clothing.

Q3 What was your best experience in designing?
My best experience with designing would definitely be the self – gratification that I feel when I finish sewing a piece and it is exactly what I was thinking in my head. It's hard to turn what you are visualizing in your mind to an actual piece of work. So when if finally comes together, after a million changes, the feeling of satisfaction is what I would refer to as my favorite experience.

Q4 Whose closet would you like to raid? And why?
Kate Moss... because she's cool

Q5 Who are your fashion icons (past or present)?
Past: Audrey H
Present: Kate Moss
I don't just like one particular person – I realize this most when I travel. I get inspired by the women I see on the street.

DACE SPRING 2008

The collections are well constructed with attention to fit and detail, the pieces are versatile, designed to be flattering and subtly sexy. They are always fresh in their simplicity. The collections are designed and manufactured in Vancouver, British Columbia to high standards of construction and quality. You can find d a c e in select boutiques across Canada and the USA.

Vancouver, B.C. (November 16, 2007) This year designer Dace Moore's Spring/Summer 2008 dace collection was inspired by a sunny trip through the European countryside. Primarily employing imported French and Italian fabrics consisting of linens and cottons, the line has an undeniably casual, yet classic sophistication.

The collection's fabrics vary beautifully, from subtly textured and finely striped cottons to the soft airy hand of voile with natural lustre. In a predominantly neutral colour scheme - sand, stone, sun-bleached blues and deep indigo - this palette combines easily, imparting a feeling of relaxed luxury.

This summer dace imbibes a new and youthful elegance. A certain "je ne sais quoi" from somewhere warm, distant and memorable. The new spring line will be available in stores across Canada and the United States in February 2008. You can visit the dace website at www.dace.ca for more information

Q6 Do you think they influenced your personal style?
I say for the most part, sometimes. It's always refreshing to see the different ways that people wear things and present themselves.

Q7 Who is your average customer and what are they like? Does any celebrity stop by your store?
We have had celebrities buy from some of the stores we sell to. For example, Lindsay Lohan and Zoey Deschanel.

Q8 What is your favorite cuisine? Could you tell us a good restaurant in your area?
Six Acers in Gastown – Vancouver, BC. They use local and organic foods and have many different kinds of imported drinks.

Q9 Would you like to add anything for the Japanese fans?
To the Japanese fan, I love your amazing sense of daring style.
