Q1 Could you tell us what did you get the concept for Fall 2008 collection?
Our fall collection is punk meets mod. We love the classic look of mod vs. the rawness of punk. We also have our Core Collection of classic jersey blend boat neck dresses and tops that are always a huge hit. |

Q2 What do you think is the most important element in your design?
Mutability & Versatility
Q3 How was working for Anna Sui where you met with your partner? Could you explain what did you do exactly? Any great experiences?
Working at Anna Sui was great! It was a good learning environment. I worked in production and Helen was the sample room assistant. I worked after hours in the sample room too, usually around the fashion shows when they needed extra help. It was fun watching Anna work on the looks for the fashion show with Steven Meisel and friends. We got to see a lot of 60's & 70's rock icons at Anna Sui like Anita Pallenberg & Marianne Faithful. Johnny Ramone's wife, Linda, used to cut Anna's hair. James Iha would come up a lot too. There was always some model or celebrity visiting her. |
