Q1 Could you tell us what's a highlight of your recent design career?
Seeing women embrace the versatility of the wrap and teaching me new ways to wear it. Also Sharon Stone buying and wearing our denim blazer to her Sundance film premiere.

Q2 I see you are involved with many charity works in your career. What charitable cause is most important to you?
All causes are worthy but I feel that the environment and the planet is the most important because it sustains us all.

Q3 If you were to dress one person, who would that be?
That's a difficult question because there are so many fabulous worthy angels out there to dress. From a celebrity standpoint it would be Angelina Jolie for her compassion and mothering skills, Oprah for her understanding of women's needs, and Drew Barrymore & Cameron Diaz for their sweet and perky sensibilities.

Q4 What are you wearing this spring?
I live year round in a combination of my wing tunics, jeans & trousers, wrap always supported with a comfy pair of wing briefs. On occasion I flirt with a pushup style or dance in an Audrey dress.

Q9 Whose closet would you like to raid?
Metropolitan Museum of Art Costume Institute

Q10 Music to live by
Whatever gets you singing, dancing, moving, grooving or uplifts the soul. I find beauty in all genres.

Q11 If you can travel anywhere in the world, where would you go?
All around this wide world a thousand times or more

Q12 What is your favorite cuisine? Could you tell us a good restaurant in your area?
Home cooked food made with love. My husband's cooking is wonderful so I would have to say our house is the best restaurant I know in the area. Since that is not open to the public then I would suggest Perch on 5th Ave for a lovely ambiance and excellent sandwiches.

Q13 Tell us your secret favorite store.
Thrift stores & garage sales, I adore vintage pieces.

Q14 What are your aspirations?
To give back as much as I receive and to inspire others to find and share their joy. If we all work hard to seek our inner peace then it will radiate out to the world. I aspire to balance all the wondrous aspects of life: work, family, friends, discovery, play, reflection.

Q15 Would you like to add anything for the Japanese fans?

I'd like to thank the Japanese for bringing such an extraordinary sense of creativity and fun to fashion. They lead the world in innovation and experimentation. The Japanese culture both old and new is a constant inspiration to me. My logo for ANGeLRoX which came before anything else represents balance or centering in joy, very aligned with Buddhist sensibilities. The combined grace and respect and fearlessness of Japanese culture is a gift to the world.

Q5 What do you offer to consumers different than others?
ANGeLRoX offers an experience that transcends fashion trends in versatile signature designs that are ultra comfortable and infused with philosophy and a mission to give back to the world.

Q6 Is there a designer who inspires you the most?
There are many who inspire me greatly but I would have to lean towards Coco Chanel for the freedom she initiated for women in apparel and Ralph Lauren for his exquisite sense of branding and offering timeless lifestyle apparel.

Q7 what do you see people wearing on the streets that you think is not tasteful?
Grotesque displays of overly branded items. One or two chic pieces of upscale product such as a nice pair of sunglasses and a handbag are great accessories but labels spelled out all over apparel can be tacky. We do offer an oversize logo t but it is subtle in its symbolism without direct reference to the brand name.

Q8 What project you are working on right now?
As always there are multiple projects on the table from new designs, researching increased ways to incorporate organic fabrics and ecologically sound manufacturing practices, further improving our website and communications to better serve our customers, refining the course I teach at Parsons, and a video for our wrap to maximize its value and versatility for ANGeLRoX fans.
