Q1 Could you tell us what's a highlight of your recent design career?
Yes, being chosen at the Henri Bendel Open call for designers in N.Y. I sat on the sidewalk for 7 Hours to be seen, along with 350 other designers. I was first in line, first seen, and first one chosen to have my brand highlighted at an up coming Trunk Show. |

Q2 What are the special qualities of your design?
All completely handmade, with found objects, and even ordinary objects repurposed into something very unique. Each piece has about 5-6 hours of handwork involved in it, and for that reason would be nearly impossible to send to mass production.
Q3 If you were to dress one person, who would that be?
Sorry, but I have 4! Coco Rocha, Bai Ling, Kelly Osbourne, and Rhianna.
Q4 What are you wearing this spring?
Vintage flight attendant jackets, with classic Levis. I also wear hand altered custom vintage blazers as well.
Q5 What inspires you to design?
Mainly, what I see on the runways. I also get inspired from ordinary objects, shapes, and the most common materials juxtaposed with high end items. |

The brand began as I working as a stylist for a Luxury Retailer. I created a few looks for some mannequins, and the response was overwhelming. Clients were inquiring about the creations daily.
Thomas decided to attend the open call at Henri Bendel N.Y. After a 7 hour wait in the freezing cold and rain, he made it to the critique tables and spoke with an accessories buyer. He was offered a spot in a window, on a mannequin, and then P.A.s and trunk shows. Thomas have never looked back since that day! He conceptualize each piece, and produce everything by hand, with my assistant Angevin LeMatin. They can produce many looks, and even offer custom orders as well. They are currently at Unsung, and Love Brigade Co-op as well. Most clients at this point are word of mouth. |
