Q1 What have you (or your designs) changed since we had an interview with you last August?
I feel my Spring collection is more of a cohesive, intricate and collective brand than last year's. I have also strived to find high quality gemstones to incorporate into the collection while keeping retail prices down so that my collection is affordable for everyone.

Q2 What is your spring 2008 collection like?
I have 4 collections this spring including the Luna, Cascade, Vintage and Keshi, all of which have a specific design concept and woman in mind. But all of these women have a common love-the love of blending styles and the love to feel feminine but strong.

Q3 What is the one must-have article of clothing for women this spring?
I think every woman should have a bright floral piece because it really brings out the femininity of a woman.

Q4 If you were to dress one person, who would that be?
I think I would have to say Victoria Beckham. She has become such a fashion icon and I can relate to her because she is so dedicated to her family.

Q5 What do you see people wearing on the streets that you think is not tasteful?
I have to say a woman should dress her own age.

Q6 What do you offer to consumers different than others?
I want to keep my prices as low as possible.

Q7 Who is your favorite new designer, besides your own collection?
I am loving Phillip Lim right now! He has a great quiet design sense and eye for flattering a woman.

Q8 Music to live by
Whenever I need my mood uplifted, I listen to hits from the 80's!
Q13 What projects are you currently working on?
I am currently working on a higher end collection using 18 karat gold.

Q14 Would you like to add anything for your fans?
I have such a loyal fan base and I want send a hearty thanks to all who have supported me from the very beginning! My best wishes to you all!

Interview on the 7th August 2007

Q9 Name three things we might be surprised to find in your closet.
For one, my closet is actually filled with handbags! I think my handbags out number my wardrobe! Second, I am also a shoe fanatic and since I have so many, I had to photograph each pair and affix them to their matching boxes so I can just select and go! The third would have to be shopping bags from stores and boutiques all across the world! I collect them like people collect stamps!

Q10 Favorite cocktail and where to drink it?
I would love to be sitting in Positano sipping a glass of limoncello.

Q11 If you could rewrite your history a bit and take on a totally different career or lifestyle, what would it be and why?
I would love to be a performer on Broadway because I love to sing!

Q12 What is your favorite cuisine? Could you tell us a good restaurant in your area?
Italian is my absolute favorite! My husband and I love this little place called ZaZa (must go to the outdoor garden to feel like you’re in Tuscany) for fresh fettucine ai porcini con tartufo bianco!
