Q1 Could you tell us what's a highlight of your recent design career?
Working with celebrities is always a highlight for me because they usually try to find the most unique items in clothing and jewelry, which allows me to be a bit more daring. Recently, I made some custom pieces for Paris Hilton. She wore one of my necklaces for a red carpet event at the Super Bowl in Arizona which received great media exposure!

Paris is such a style icon and wears unique and unusual items, so I was extremely happy to have her wear my line. Kim Kardashian is also a fan of my line as she owns a custom rhinestoned skull. Each piece is truly unique, so they provide these celebrities with a sense of complete style and individuality when they wear it.

Q2 I see Rock N' Roll was your inspiration. Could you explain?
I Love Rock N' Roll so naturally the influence comes out through my designs. There is so much inspiration from rock and roll from the energy, fantasy and artistry. I take all of these elements and then add my touch by adding a soft, romantic and accessible application to each design. Rock N' Roll is timeless much like the pieces I try to create.

Q3 What are you wearing this spring?
My art nouveau inspired jewelry that incorporates spiders and Prada's sculpted purple velvet floral heels.
Q8 What project you are working on right now?
I'm creating a custom necklace for Dave Navarro (of Janes Addictions/Red Hot Chili Peppers) and a goth-rock chandelier.

Q9 Whose closet would you like to raid?
Nicole Kidman has the classiest collection of fashion designers most unique pieces. Each outfit she wears has great variety to it and each look is different which is hard to pull off!

Q10 Music to live by
ROCK N ROLL!! Vintage Bowie, Radiohead, Guns and Roses and Foo Fighters

Q11 If you can travel anywhere in the world, where would you go?
Paris because of the architecture, historical beauty and art.

Q12 Tell us your secret favorite store.
The one I shop at now is revolveclothing.com and the one I wish I could shop at is Maxfield's LA.

Q13 What is your favorite cuisine? Could you tell us a good restaurant in your area?
Asian Cuisine is my favorite. Flo's Asian Bistro in Scottsdale is the best!

Q14 What are your aspirations?
Be true to myself, share the joy of my work and hopefully bring happiness to the people wearing my creations. I would also like to expand my brand into markets that truly appreciate the quality and artistry I try to preserve.

As the honored recipient of the 2006 FGI Rising Star award for best new accessory designer in Arizona, Beth's presence in the collectable jewelry market continues to grow. She was recently voted Best Local Designer for 2007 in the annual "Best of" issue of Phoenix Magazine.
A self-taught designer Beth has developed her own unique and edgy, gothic style while artfully maintaining a fresh and modern appeal. Her playful sense of a "Good Girl gone Bad" is reflected in many of her one-of-a-kind and limited edition pieces allowing the wearer to flirt with her wilder side. The historically influenced jewelry draws the best from the past, transforming vintage curiosities into expressive wearable art.
Beth's work is of the highest quality both in construction and materials including rare vintage glass, sparkling gemstones, freshwater pearls, Swarovski crystals and collectable antique buttons, brooches and baubles. Beth lives in Cave Creek, Arizona with her husband, two sons and bead eating Maltese.

Q4 If you were to dress one person, who would that be?
That is easy – Angelina Jolie. She is ALL woman – sexy, edgy, sophisticated, smart, philanthropic, gentle and has the strength to just be herself. I admire all of these qualities so it would be such a pleasure trying to create pieces around all of these attributes.

Q5 What do you offer to consumers different than others?
All of my pieces are one-of-a-kind. I use a variety of different materials which lets me create multiple looks for each of my customers. My clients tell me they feel like they are wearing a custom sculpture or art piece that was created specifically for their own style. My jewelry truly reflects and compliments the individual's personality, mood and spirit. Additionally, most of my pieces are made with vintage materials so they are eco-friendly as well!

Q6 Is there a designer who inspires you the most?
Bruce Hoeksema and all the designers for VBH and of course Tom Ford

Q7 what do you see people wearing on the streets that you think is not tasteful?
Clothing that is too tight and too baggy. A woman should tastefully accentuate the shape of her own body. I'm not a fan of "leaving nothing to the imagination."
Q15 Would you like to add anything for the Japanese fans?
In my opinion, the Japanese culture is one of the most daring and influential cultures when it comes to independent style. I think my products would be a perfect fit in Japan due to culture's amazing energy and innovative nature. I would love to see my products sold in Japan and hopefully this will be the start of my showcase in your country!
