Q2 Please tell us your career as a designer.
Since I was little age I love making things. I was thinking to become illustrator for comics, or an architect.
Q3 Please tells us your brand concept, what's bihind it?
Beautiful and functional, simple but well thought.
Q4 What does art and design mean to you?
DESIGN is like making love, and art is like a mustervation. I have been asked this question many times. Whenever I have asked this question I always answer the same since I was a student. As for business views there is someone in front of you waiting for your design. People waiting might be your client or your customer, though you have to have fun and have energy from what you do. That is my concept of designing. |

Q6 You live in Spain, what they bring to you?
I got a lot of inspiration from living in Spain. You can't expect them make it on time. They don't care about the due, they don't care about the delay. I don't know why they don't care anything for the delay on business! I love a climate. Here is always warm so I can relax and got a lot tof ideas. I think that's why so many great artists were born in Spain. |

Q7 What's your greatest inspiration when you making pieces?
Daily life, people around me,and diversed cultures. I think I have different cultures such as Japanese, American, and Europian in my life so that I got inspiration from different cultures. Designing is part of the culture and the culture is part of designing. For instance if you sit on a floor and it is your culture then there is no designing for the chair. I am very lucky man that I can see a lot of different culture through my life.
Q8 Where is the favorite place in Spain?
South. If you want to see a real Spain then you should go to the South of Spain. There is a beautiful shoreline in Barcelona. I love it.
Q9 Could you tell us the artists or the designer you got an inspiration from?
Marc Newson's job is always making me an inspiration. |

(Tokyo, 1974) Educated in the United States at the prestigious Rhode Island School of Design, Hiroshi Tsunoda is one of the most talented young emergent designers of the international panorama. From a young age, Hiroshi Tsunoda knew he wanted to work with his hands. When he was eight years old, a documentary about the futurist designs of Giorgetto Giugiaro for Maserati became a precendent for him. His passion for movies and a fascination with American culture took to him to Chicago, where he was to study English and the he heard speak about the Rhode Island. Here its talent was discovered and he can developed his technique and style: simple, minimalist lines with a retro-futuristic twist and a delight in all that is artificial. Their designs have been exposed in two occasions in the Salone Satellite of Milan. At the moment he has his own study of design located in Barcelona. |

See, the term of making love, has a lot of meaning inside. I don't want to say having sex instead of making love because I believe there are many meanings in having sex. I would love to discuss about having sex or making love but I should stop. Although the sound of making love feels more warmer than having sex, don't you think? That's what I expect for designing as well. There are two people standing together so they can make love, but if you don't care anybody and don't see the people waiting you, you are just having sex. What I would like to say is the concept of design should be the term of making love. You can't design just for yourself. The ART can be a pure presure. I think making art is only for yourself and following your desire. I don't think the term of art doesn't have a meaning for selling. Art is just for yourself. Not for making a profit. Whatever you want to do for yourseld is an art. It's like a mustervation. You are doing just for your presure. You don't have to make people happy, just meking yourself happy. |
