Q1 What made you decide to be a photographer?
I was one of those artists that wanted to dabble into everything, be everywhere, act, sing, dance, direct, you name it I tried it. Soon, I was given my first camera, and through that I figured I'd learn the basics of seeing everything I loved through the lens. I got burned out of it in high school and thought I wanted to pursue music again so I started dj'ing at clubs, parties and such. |

I would take my camera with me places I would go and after a while I noticed that I was still spending a lot of time documenting, so it was obvious to me and others to pursue it fulltime.
Q2 I see many aspects of fashion was your inspiration, could you explain?
My mother modeled briefly while I was a child and I always thought she was so beautiful. I was a bit of a loner as a kid so images and things of beauty and style were things I always admired. As I got older, I tried many aspects of photography but fashion seemed to be the turning point for me. Fashion allowed me to create fiction and turn things into reality. The emotion is more important to me than the fashion but its important to show case both without over emphasizing it.
Q3 What does beauty means to you?
Anything can be beautiful but a moment where something magical happens it makes you feel happy. |

Q8 Is there an artist who inspires you?
Bjork is a huge inspiration to me,she works with a huge platform of amazing innovative artists and exposes them to her fans just by collaborating with her. She and her entourage of collaborators push boundaries, create stunning visual' s and make some of the best and most avant garde work there is. Also, David Lynch is a masterful director what photographer couldn’t be inspired by any one of his films?
Q9 Is there a dream project that you'd like to do?
I would love to photograph models of every race in every country. That really is the only way of seeing life through a lens.
Q10 Do you have any mentors and if so, who are they?
My mentors tend to be fellow photographers, and other types of fine artists, also old professors from my college days that I still keep in contact with. |

Q11 When is the happiest moment as a photographer?
When everything is coming along together perfectly. If my subject is taking direction well and giving back more than expected it makes a shoot go really well for all involved. Also when good surprises arises that were not originally intended, the images just come out even better.
Q12 If you could rewrite your history a bit and take on a totally different career or lifestyle, what would it be and why?
I wouldve been a singer or musician. My voice is not bad but I was so shy growing up that I always liked being behind the scenes, so I never pursued it except to just sing in my room or in the car.
Q13 Favorite cocktail and where to drink it?
The Mojito, I love it because it freshens your mouth, and taste great, but mostly I'm a whisky kind of guy. I tend to like having drinks at nice restaraunts.

Q4 Do you have any favorite camera or equipment to work with?
Typically, I prefer shooting with film cameras. The Hassleblad is challenging to work with but when I can afford to, I shoot with it, otherwise I shoot with Nikon digital camera's. There really is no way around shooting digitally in todays fast pace world.
Q5 Where do you go for inspiration?
There's really not one place. I love going through all the European magazines, spending time in book stores, as well as museums. Music is a big inspiration to me so I love running around the city with my ipod watching people and things move about, ideas always hit me being outdoors.
Q6 If you were to take a photo one person, who would that be?
I would have to say Johnny Depp, he is one of the most enigmatic actors ever existed, his mystique is undeniable as well as his beauty. |

Q7 What do you look out for when you're shooting?
I look out for more good than bad but if I see certain lighting situations, or technical issues that may arise I really try to prevent them from interfering during a good moment. I also have to look out for spontaneous situations or things that appear in my lens during a fast shoot.
